Respecto a la versión World Warrior, se agregan luchadores seleccionables al rooster (como Saga y Bison) También nos da la posibilidad por primera vez de elegir a ambos jugadores el mismo luchador (añadiendo el cambio de paleta de colores) Si bien no creo que sea la mejor versión de Street Fighter II, creo que es una entrega muy digna y una gran mejora respecto a la anterior.

No Mega Drive foi lançado como Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition, e é um Mix do Champion Edition e do SF2 Turbo, é um excelente port, talvez o melhor das versões da série SF2.
