Na minha opinião, esse game ficou um pouco atrás de seu antecessor, Lament of Innocence, em termos de grandiosidade. mas é um game que retoma algumas origens da série. O personagem principal, Hector, não faz parte do clã Belmont. O jogo possui excelente trilha sonora, jogabilidade e a volta dos "familiars", vistos em Symphony of the Night, é uma excelente vantagem.
